HOW TO BUILD A FRESH START

Deciding to make a Fresh Start can begin in a moment - but turning that new page is just the first step in building the strong body and good habits that can last your whole life.

Using chiropractic care is a lot like building your dream house - having a great idea is a fantastic first step, but making sure you have a good team to build that idea helps a great deal.  Like any house, a strong foundation is important.  In our office you will get a comprehensive assessment on your first visit, so we know where to start with your skeletal system, your muscles, your chemical and emotional health, and your organic health.  Once we know what's working, we can get to work on anything that needs improvement.

Chiropractic care in our office starts by splitting your care into three major phases:  "Damage Control" - "Strengthening" - "Goals and Maintenance".  We will assess you on day one, and figure out where you are starting.  Then, we will customize your care to the needs you currently face, or the goals you hope to achieve.

What to Expect!

Phase 1: Damage Control / Relief Care

If you are in pain when you first come to Fresh Start Chiropractic, our first objective is to help you reduce pain and start feeling better as soon as possible.  We ALWAYS make decisions one patient at a time, but depending on the severity of the underlying condition which is causing your pain, we may be able to help you reduce pain quickly, or we may need to provide repetitive care (1-3 times per week) until we can stabilize your symptoms.

Phase 2: Strengthening / Corrective Care

Once we have you feeling better, we want to make sure your pain and symptoms don't return.  During the corrective phase of chiropractic care, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, which helps prevent further injury or pain.  The goal of corrective or restorative chiropractic care is to help bring your body back to 100%.  It is typical to need chiropractic care or adjustments about 2-4 times per month until your body maintains better function, posture, and core strength - often for 2-4 months, depending on where we start.

Phase 3: Goals and Maintenance / Wellness Care

Once your body has fully healed and you are no longer experiencing pain or symptoms, it is important to come in for periodic chiropractic adjustments to avoid further problems in the future.  Usually, this phase of chiropractic care only requires a quick visit once in a while.  Again, at Fresh Start Chiropractic we ALWAYS make plans individually - but often this phase of care utilizes adjustments every month or two, depending on your lifestyle and goals.
