Dr. Jesse Mead

Dr.  Jesse Mead has joined Fresh Start Chiropractic in our Middleboro location as a second staff Doctor in 2010.  He brings with him an extensive range of talents.  Dr. Mead grew up in Raynham, and recently returned from Florida to settle back on the South Coast.

With an undergraduate degree in exercise sciences, and his chiropractic degree from Palmer College, the same school as Dr. Nico, he has a deep grounding in the principles of joint mechanics and chiropractic philosophy.  These are the same strengths that make Fresh Start so special.  He has a certificate in strength-training and conditioning, allowing him to expand on his value to our Patients as a Personal Trainer, and he has taken post-graduate seminars on topics including neurology, physical therapy, severe back pain, and anti-inflammatory nutrition.

Dr. Mead had a unique internship experience at The Spine and Neuromuscular Associates of Southeast Indiana, where he shadowed 4 Chiropractors, a Neurologist, Anti-aging/Integrative Medical Doctor, Neurosurgeon, Orthopedic Surgeon, Doctor of Physical Therapy, and several Massage Therapists.  In nearby Cincinnati, Ohio he witnessed numerous procedures such as:  arthroscopic shoulder and knee repair, spinal laminectomy, discectomy, fusion, rod surgery, epidural injections, facet joint blocks, and electrodiagnostics.  He has a total of 6 internship months with two Doctors of Physical Therapy, where he learned alternative techniques to traditional Chiropractic.  Dr. Mead takes pride in working toward open communication with the members of your medical team to get you the excellent care that you deserve.

When not in the office Dr. Mead enjoys spending time with his family and his Australian Shepherd dog.  He loves kayak fishing, hiking, exercising, and volunteering as a wrestling coach.
